Small character printers, also known as continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers, are designed specifically for industrial production and packaging. They spray quick-drying ink non-contact as products move along the production line, printing variable and static information such as date codes, batch codes, lot numbers, barcodes, and logos onto a variety of substrates (such as metal, glass, wood, plastic, and paper) and objects of various shapes (such as pipes and boxes). Independent of the target material, these printers are suitable for porous, semi-porous, and non-porous substrates, achieving multi-color, high-resolution printing and easily handling complex and challenging coding and labeling tasks, making them widely used in primary and secondary packaging.
